At 12:55 PM on April 24, 2024, Anchorage Police responded to the inbound lanes of the Glenn Highway, between the South Eagle River Exit and the Hiland Exit, regarding a single vehicle rollover crash wherein the adult male driver was ejected from a Chevy Trailblazer.  The driver was transported to a hospital by AFD Medics with life-threatening injuries.  The cause of the collision is under investigation.

Members of APD’s Traffic Unit responded.  Inbound Glenn Highway traffic had been diverted onto the South Eagle River Exit while they worked the scene.   The highway is now open; the exit ramp onto the Hiland Overpass remains shut down.
