Shooting Investigation on the 300-block of W 32nd Avenue

At 2:30 AM on February 13, 2024, Anchorage Police responded to a residence on the 300-block of W 32nd Avenue regarding a shooting.  Initial indications are there were four adults inside the residence when a handgun was discharged, striking one of the adult males in the upper body.  He was transported to the hospital for treatment of what are believed to be life threatening injuries.

Police believe they have contacted everyone involved.  Interviews are currently being conducted; no charges have been filed.  The motive behind the shooting remains under investigation.

There are no road closures.  The Crime Scene Team will be responding to process the site.  There will be a continued police presence in the area while that occurs.
