Assault Investigation: 4610 Spenard Rd.

ORIGINAL: At approximately 2:04 PM on Dec. 12, 2025, Anchorage Police were dispatched to the Barratt Inn at 4610 Spenard Rd. in reference to an adult female victim who had been assaulted; she was transported to a local hospital with what are believed to be life-threatening injuries. The Crime Scene Team is responding to process the scene. Please avoid the area and follow the officers’ instructions if you need to be in the vicinity.

One adult male suspect has been taken in for questioning by detectives. There are no additional suspects or persons of interest being sought at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.

UPDATE: Following the conclusion of detective interviews, 23-year-old George Stevenson was charged with Attempted Murder, six counts of Assault in the First Degree, and four counts of Assault in the Second Degree. Stevenson was remanded to the Anchorage Correctional Complex.
