DEATH INVESTIGATION: 900 BLOCK OF MULDOON ROAD

On June 30, 2026, at approximately 1:19 a.m. APD patrol officers responded to the 900 block of Muldoon Road for a reported vehicle fire. Upon arrival to the area, police found a vehicle engulfed in flames outside of a residence. The Anchorage Fire Department arrived and extinguished the flames, locating the bodies of two individuals inside the vehicle. The APD Crime Scene team was called to process the scene along with a fire investigator from the Anchorage Fire Department. The circumstances remain under investigation.
