DEATH INVESTIGATION: 9500 BLOCK BRAYTON DR.

On March 5, 2026, at approximately 1:56 PM, Anchorage Police were dispatched to the 9500 block of Brayton Dr. for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located an adult female inside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound to her upper body. The female was declared deceased at the scene.

Investigators believe they have contacted all parties involved and there are no outstanding suspects related to this incident; no arrests have been made. The circumstances surrounding her death remain under investigation.  

The APD Crime Scene Team responded to the area and processed the scene.
