DRONE DEPLOYMENT: 5000 BLOCK OF TAKU DRIVE

On September 30, 2026 at around 7:50 p.m. APD was called to the 5000 block of Taku Drive for an audible fire alarm going off. The owner requested APD to clear the unoccupied building. A drone was used to safely clear the building and no one was found inside.

Please note this is not a major incident. APD has recently created a category on the website to ensure the public is notified when a drone is deployed.
