HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION: 11801 Brayton Dr.

DATE/TIME OF INCIDENT: November 8, 2025, 11:43 AM

UPDATE NARRATIVE 10:10 AM: November 10, 2025, officers responded to 11801 Brayton Dr. in reference to a shooting. When officers arrived, they found an adult male with trauma to the upper body. Officers and medics attempted life- saving measures but the victim was declared deceased at the scene.

The suspect has been identified as 36-year-old Luke Simonson and has been arrested on charges of Murder I, Murder II, and Assault III. The victim has been identified as 45-year-old Timothy Grosdidier. Next-of-kin notifications have been completed.

Detectives have contacted everyone believed to be involved in this investigation and are not looking for anyone at this time. There is no current public safety threat related to this incident.

UPDATE: From the Attorney General’s Office

Nov. 14, 2025 (Anchorage, AK) – Today, an Anchorage grand jury indicted 36-year-old Luke Simonson for the murder of 45-year-old Timothy Grosdidier. The grand jury returned an indictment for Murder in the First and Second Degree for Grosdidier’s death. They also returned an indictment for Assault in the Third Degree against Grosdidier’s wife.

On Nov. 8, 2025, at approximately 11:45 am in the parking lot of Fox Hollow Golf Course and Sports Dome, Simonson shot Grosdidier after a verbal altercation. As Grosdidier, unarmed, came around the front of Simonson’s vehicle, Simonson exited his vehicle, walked toward Grosdidier and shot him four times. Dash-cam video showed the incident. Simonson then pointed his gun at Grosdidier’s wife as she came to her husband’s aid.

A Superior Court arraignment is set for Nov. 18, 2025, in Anchorage.
