UPDATE ON 5/15/25: At approximately 11:29 p.m. on May 14, 2025, the Anchorage Police Department received a 911 call reporting an adult male with gunshot wounds to the upper body in the area of Grand Larry Street and Peck Avenue.

Officers responded to the scene and located an adult male suffering from trauma to the upper body. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

At this time, no arrests have been made. This remains an active and ongoing investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact APD at 3-1-1 (option #1) or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers at www.anchoragecrimestoppers.com.

ORIGINAL NARRATIVE: There is a large police presence around the 8100-Blk Peck Ave​     ​ Please follow officers’ instructions if you are in the area.  If you do not need to be in the vicinity, please avoid it and seek alternative routes until further notice. Depending on the situation, our response may require using a variety of tactics and tools, to include the drone.
