TRAFFIC FATALITY: 5TH AVENUE & HOYT STREET

On August 6, 2026, at about 7:41 pm, APD responded to the area of 5th Avenue and Hoyt Street for a report of a motorcycle that had crashed into a tree.  Upon arrival, officers found an adult male who was declared deceased at the scene. Identity will be released when next-of-kin procedures are complete.
