SEEKING PUBLIC ASSISTANCE FOR IDENTITY OF ELUDING SUSPECTS

On August 10, 2026 3:22 PM, APD responded to the area of Huffman and Old Seward for reports from numerous complainants of subjects on electric dirt bikes operating on the road in a dangerous manner. Upon arrival, two people were located illegally operating electric dirtbikes on a sidewalk on Old Seward near Huffman.  Both dirt bikes failed to stop at the direction of an officer and fled an attempted traffic stop by riding at a high rate of speed southbound on a sidewalk along Old Seward.  Anyone who recognizes the individuals or who witnessed the incident and has not yet been interviewed by APD, please contact Sgt.
