RECKLESS DRIVING INCIDENT ON SB GLENN HW

At approximately 6:16 AM on May 13, 2026, Anchorage Police received a report of a brand-new gray Ford F-150 traveling southbound on the Glenn Highway near Eklutna at approximately 100 mph, passing other vehicles on the shoulder, and nearly causing multiple collisions. The vehicle displayed dealer plates from “CORWIN,” an out-of-state dealership.

UPDATE: The APD Traffic Unit would like to thank members of the public for reaching out with their observations.  The driver was contacted by APD and has been issued citations for equipment violations.  The reckless driving behavior described by witnesses occurred outside of the Municipality, therefore the case has been referred to the Alaska State Troopers for further investigation.
