SEEKING WITNESSES - TRAFFIC COLLISION

The Major Collision Investigation Unit is investigating a collision that occurred on Friday June 27th at about 02:54 AM and seeks additional witnesses. APD dispatch received numerous calls reporting a silver Chevrolet Malibu on the Glenn Highway in the northbound lanes between Fort Richardson and the Commercial Vehicle scales which was stopped in the road.  At 03:06 AM APD Dispatch began receiving numerous calls reporting an injury collision at the same location.

 The adult male driver of the Chevrolet Malibu was transported to a local hospital with what were believed to be life threatening injuries at the time. The juvenile driver of a blue Chevrolet Silverado involved in the collision was transported to a local hospital with injuries that were not life threatening.
