SHOOTING INVESTIGATION: 6300 BLOCK DEBARR RD

At 6:17 PM on September 22, 2025, Anchorage Police were dispatched to the 6300 block of Debarr Rd. in reference to a shooting that had occurred outside. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim with gunshot wounds to the upper body. The victim was transported to a hospital with what are now believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Throughout the course of the investigation, Detectives identified 52-year-old Alexander Seeman as the shooting suspect. It was determined that Seeman had fled the scene prior to police arriving and a warrant for Assault 1 was issued for Seeman. On September 24, 2025, during an unrelated investigation, Seeman was located and taken into custody on the outstanding warrant. He was remanded at the Anchorage Correctional Complex.

The motive for the shooting, and any relationship between the parties involved, is still under investigation.
