SWAT CALLOUT 1400 BLOCK W 34TH AVE

On 12/25/2025, at approximately 5:41 a.m., an officer on patrol reported shots were fired at the officer who was driving by a residence at the 1400 block of W. 34th Avenue.

Multiple units responded and APD SWAT was called in to help locate a subject who was believed to be armed. During the response, it was discovered that multiple individuals were at the residence. Commands were given multiple times, and a series of tactics were used including drones and K-9s.

The incident was resolved without injuries and six people were arrested on various charges. including outstanding warrants.
