TRAFFIC FATALITY: E 15TH AVE & MEDFRA ST
On October 13, 2026, at approximately 7:53 AM, officers assigned to patrol and the traffic unit responded to E 15th Ave and Medfra St in reference to a vehicle versus pedestrian collision. The adult male pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene by medics from the Anchorage Fire Department.
The victim’s identity will be released once next-of-kin notification procedures have been completed. The driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian remained on scene and has been cooperative with the investigation. No charges have been filed at this time.
