ARREST: 333 E. TUDOR ROAD

At approximately 9:23 PM on February 2, 2026, Anchorage Police Department officers responded to a report of multiple fires at Lowe’s, located at 333 E. Tudor Road. The Anchorage Fire Department was already on scene battling the fires. Officers found multiple bundles of cardboard were on fire on the northwest and northeast exterior sides of the building with the flames causing damage to the building.

The preliminary investigation indicates a Duraflame log was thrown into the cardboard, igniting the fires. An adult male suspect fled the area on foot but was located by officers nearby.

Police arrested and charged 42-year-old Falani Solomona with Arson in the First Degree, Criminal Mischief, and Violating Conditions of Release. Solomona was remanded to the Anchorage Correctional Complex on these charges.
