DEATH INVESTIGATION: 2850 C ST.

NARRATIVE: At 9:52 PM on July 7, 2025, Anchorage Police were dispatched to 2850 C St. in reference to an unresponsive adult male located outside. It appeared the man had been assaulted. AFD medics arrived and performed life-saving measures before transporting him to a hospital. Witnesses were transported to APD Headquarters for questioning by detectives.

On July 10, 2025, APD was notified that the man had succumbed to his injuries.

The victim was identified as 49-year-old Jason Ayojiak. Next-of-kin notification procedures are complete.
