DEATH INVESTIGATION: 900-BLOCK W 11th AVE.

On May 15, 2025, Anchorage Police were notified that an adult male, who had been transported to a hospital following a medic assist on May 10, 2025, was not expected to survive his injuries. Hospital staff believed that the man had been assaulted; APD was notified the man succumbed to his injuries on May 16, 2025.

The victim has been identified as 63-year-old William Macy. Next-of-kin notifications are complete.

The circumstances surrounding the death are still under investigation; no charges have been filed.
