Death Investigation on the 200-block of W 4th Avenue

Update on 4/10/24:

This case is now closed.  The death is not being investigated as a homicide.

Original on 1/18/24:

At 10:59 AM on January 18, 2024, Anchorage Police responded to the area of West 4th Avenue and C St. in reference to an adult male deceased outside.

While circumstances around the death are still under investigation, police have noticed circumstances that warrant a closer look.

The Crime Scene Team has responded to process the scene. Ultimately the Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
