HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION: 32ND & A STREET

On June 19, 2026, at about 12:19 am, APD responded to the area of 32nd and A street for reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers found a deceased male adult. A crime scene callout was initiated to process the scene and two people were detained.

22-year-old Jaden Quezada was transported to the Anchorage Correctional Center (ACC) and was remanded on charges of Murder 2, Manslaughter and two unrelated warrants.

The name of the deceased individual will be released after Next-of-Kin notification procedures are complete.
