HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION: 700-BLOCK OF N PARK ST.

On January 24, 2026, Anchorage Police issued a missing persons alert for Bonnie Wright, Crystal Hazlitt, and juveniles John and Dahlia Trucks. On January 25, 2026, Anchorage Police located Hazlitt and both juveniles; however, 67-year-old Bonnie Wright remained missing.

During the missing person investigation, detectives developed information that led to a search of a residence in the 700 block of N. Park Street. A search warrant was obtained and served, and on January 28, 2026, Bonnie Wright was located deceased in the residence. The Anchorage Police Department Crime Scene Team responded to process the scene. Police believe this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public. This is an ongoing investigation.
