HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION: Richmond Av / Taylor St

DATE/TIME OF INCIDENT: October 11, 2025, 12:57 AM

CURRENT STATUS: Inital Report

NARRATIVE: At 12:32 AM on October 11, 2025, officers responded to Richmond Av and Taylor St in reference to gunshots. At 12:57 AM an adult male with related trauma to the upper body was brought to the hospital and later declared deceased.

The victim’s identity will be released once next-of-kin notification procedures are complete.

The Crime Scene Team has responded to process the scene.

Anyone with information regarding this incident, to include surveillance footage of the area, is asked to contact Police Dispatch at 3-1-1 (option #1) or (907)786-8900 (option #0).  Police are currently following up on leads and there is no suspect information to release at this time.  The motive, and any relationship between the parties involved, is under investigation.
