James Williams Charged in Sexual Abuse of a Minor Case – Victims Being Sought

On April 10, 2026, an Anchorage grand jury indicted 87-year-old James Williams on two counts of Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the Second Degree. The charges stem from a months-long investigation by the Anchorage Police Department’s Crimes Against Children Unit (CACU) into alleged abuse reported to have occurred in both Anchorage and Klawock.

Williams was arrested in Klawock on April 13, 2026, by the Klawock Police Department. Investigators believe there may be additional victims.
