SHOOTING INVESTIGATION: 1700 BLOCK W 32 AVE

CURRENT STATUS: Update

UPDATE ROAD CLOSURES: Eureka St. is closed between W 32 Ave and W 34 Ave. Please avoid the area and follow the officers’ instructions if you need to be in the vicinity.

UPDATE NARRATIVE: At 7:25 AM on June 22, 2025, officers responded to the 1700 block of W 32 Ave in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival officers located 2 adults, one male one, one female, both with trauma to the upper body. Both victims have been transported to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

 At approximately 9:02 AM on June 22, 2025, a third adult male was also located with trauma to the upper body. Medics arrived and the victim was declared deceased on scene.

 Detectives have contacted everyone believed to be involved in this investigation and are not looking for anyone at this time. There is no current public safety threat related to this incident.

LARGE POLICE PRESENCE NARRATIVE: there is a large police presence around the 1700 block of W 32nd Ave. Please follow officers’ instructions if you are in the area.  If you do not need to be in the vicinity, please avoid it and seek alternative routes until further notice. Depending on the situation, our response may require using a variety of tactics and tools, to include the drone.
