SHOOTING INVESTIGATION: 2000 BLOCK OF FORAKER DRIVE

On May 23, 2026, at about 11:55 p.m., officers were called to the 2000 block of Foraker Drive for reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers observed evidence that a weapon was discharged in the area. While officers were on scene, they were notified of a victim who arrived at a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to the lower body. The victim is recovering.

This incident remains under investigation and no arrests have been made at this time. Anyone with information regarding is asked to call 3-1-1.
