Update on 11/27/23:

The deceased male victim found inside the home has been identified as 21-year-old Jaivion Hawkins.  Next-of-kin notification procedures have been completed.

This is an ongoing investigation; no arrests have been made.  At the time of this updated release, the other two shooting victims have not succumbed to their injuries.

Original on 11/25/23:

On November 25, 2023, at 3:49 AM, Midshift officers responded to the 3400 block of Greenland Drive in reference to shots fired.

When officers arrived, they found one adult male (victim # 1) with gunshot wounds to the upper body deceased in a residence. The victim’s identity will be released once next-of-kin notification procedures have been completed.

An adult male (victim #2) was located in a vehicle with gunshot wounds to the upper body and was transported by medics to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. 

An adult male (victim #3) arrived at a hospital on his own accord with gunshot wounds to the lower body. His injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening at this time.

The Crime Scene Team will be responding to process the scene. Please follow officers’ instructions if you need to be in the vicinity. 

Police are currently following up on leads, and there have been no arrests at this time. The motive and any relationship between the parties involved is under investigation. Detectives believe this is an isolated incident and not random.
