SHOOTING INVESTIGATION: 5000 BLOCK E. 6TH AVE.

UPDATE: A second adult male arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound to the upper body at approximately the same time as the initial incident. Investigators believe the two shootings are connected. At this time, no charges have been filed. Both individuals remain hospitalized.

Authorities have made contact with all parties believed to be involved; the investigation remains ongoing. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.

ORIGINAL: At approximately 9 p.m. on March 13, 2026, officers responded to the 5000 Block of East 6th Avenue in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male with a gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
