SHOOTING INVESTIGATION: 8000 BLOCK OF BOUNDARY AVENUE

On August 2, 2026, at about 11:48 p.m, APD Patrol responded to reports of a shooting at the 8000 block of Boundary Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers found two juveniles suffering from gunshot wounds, one to the upper body and the other to the lower body. Both were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Anyone with information regarding this incident, to include surveillance footage of the area, is asked to contact Police Dispatch at 3-1-1 (option #1) or (907)786-8900 (option #0).  The circumstances, motive for the incident, and any relationship between the parties involved, remain under investigation.
