TRAFFIC FATALITY: SPENARD AND WISCONSIN

On August 2, 2026, at about 6:01 p.m. APD responded to the area of Spenard and Wisconsin for a report of a crash between a vehicle and a motorcycle. 

Preliminary investigation revealed a Buick was being driven eastbound on Spenard making a left turn on Wisconsin when it was struck by the motorcycle which was driving westbound on Spenard. The adult male driving a motorcycle was transported to a local hospital and was pronounced deceased a short time later.

The driver of the Buick and one passenger were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The other passenger in the Buick was not injured.

Additional dynamics of the crash remain under investigation. The name of the deceased adult male will be released when next-of-kin notification procedures are complete.`
