homicide Investigation at Tudor and New Seward

Update on 9/13/22:

The victim has been identified as 39-year-old Jason L. Miller.  Next-of-kin notification procedures have been completed.

Update on 9/6/22:

This death is now being investigated as a homicide.  No charges have been filed and the investigation is ongoing.

The victim’s identity will be released once next-of-kin notification procedures have been completed.

At 9:50 PM on September 3, 2022, Anchorage Police officers responded to the area of Tudor and NB New Seward in reference an adult male who was found deceased outside. While circumstances around the death are still under investigation, police have deemed this death suspicious in nature. Ultimately the Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
