TRAFFIC COLLISION: Debarr Rd and Lake Otis Pkwy

 APD CASE: 25-28289

 DATE/TIME OF INCIDENT: Sep 14, 2025, 9:34 AM

 NARRATIVE: At 9:34 AM on September 14, 2025, officers responded to the intersection of Debarr Rd and Lake Otis Pkwy in reference to a vehicle collision.

The preliminary investigation indicates that a white truck, was traveling Northbound on Lake Otis Pkwy when the driver experienced a medical event; the driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with a tree Southwest of the intersection at Debarr Rd.

Medics from the Anchorage Fire Department arrived and the driver of the vehicle was transported to the hospital. The driver was pronounced dead at the hospital.

 The victim’s identity will be released once next-of-kin notification procedures have been completed.
