TRAFFIC COLLISION: DIMOND BLVD. & ANGE STREET

On Sept. 2, 2026, at about 8:46 pm, APD responded to Dimond and Ange Street for reports of a collision with injuries. Upon arrival, officers observed a truck upside down in a parking lot.  

The preliminary investigation revealed that 21-year-old Wyatt Baker was driving a truck eastbound on Dimond Blvd. when he lost control of the truck and crashed into a nearby building. A passenger in the vehicle was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Wyatt Baker was also transported with non-life threatening injuries. Upon release, Wyatt Baker provided a breath sample and it was determined he was over the legal limit. He was remanded to the Anchorage Correctional Complex (ACC) on charges of DUI, Assault 1 and Reckless Driving.
