TRAFFIC COLLISION: MILE 86 OF THE SEWARD HIGHWAY

At approximately 3:01PM on September 4, 2026 Anchorage Police responded to a collision between two vehicles near Mile 86 of the Seward Highway. Traffic should expect extended delays as crews work to clear the scene. 

UPDATE: As of 4:37PM on September 4, 2026 Both directions on the Seward Highway near mile 86 are now open.
