VEHICLE fatality: GLENN HIGHWAY

Updated at 12:20 pm: On July 9, 2026 at approximately 8 a.m., APD responded to an injury collision on the S Curves of the Glenn Highway, which is located near the Anchorage Weigh Station. Upon arrival, responding officers saw a collision involving multiple vehicles resulting in at least one fatality. Investigators are on scene. One lane has been opened for Southbound traffic and two lanes are open for Northbound traffic, expect delays. Updates will be posted as they become available.
