Motorcycle Collision: Glenn Highway

UPDATE: The victim has been identified as 76-year-old Neal Kutchins. On July 23, 2026, APD was notified that Kutchins had died in the hospital due to injuries sustained in the collision. Next of Kin notifications are complete.

ORIGINAL: On July 1, 2026, at around 8:12 pm, a driver of a motorcycle was travelling southbound on the Glenn Highway near the exit to Thunderbird Falls when the driver struck a moose in the roadway. The driver was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries.
