WARRANT LOCATE: ROBERT MILLER, DRIVER OF VEHICLE THAT CRASHED INTO PEL’MENI

At about 3:27 AM on April 20, 2025, officers from APD’s mid-shift patrol and the Anchorage Fire Department responded to a report of a vehicle colliding with a building at the intersection of 5th Ave. and K St. Upon arrival, officers discovered an unoccupied blue Dodge truck that had crashed into the Anchorage Pel'Meni restaurant. An adult male employee was in the restaurant during the incident and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The building incurred damage exceeding $100,000.

An investigation conducted by APD’s Major Collision Investigation Unit (MCIU) indicated that the driver at the time of the crash was 41-year-old Robert Miller.  A felony warrant has been obtained for Robert Miller on the charges of Assault 1, Assault 3, Criminal Mischief, Leaving the Scene of an Accident Without Assisting the Injured, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance 4, Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance 5, and Reckless Driving. Bail is set at $10,000 cash appearance and $10,000 cash performance.
