WITNESSES BEING SOUGHT IN TRAFFIC INVESTIGATION

The Anchorage Police Department is looking for witnesses to a vehicle vs. pedestrian collision.

On June 8, 2025, at about 5:55 PM, APD responded to a hit and run vehicle vs. pedestrian collision at Benson Blvd. and C St.  Initial indications are that an adult male pedestrian was crossing Benson Blvd. in the crosswalk, when he was struck by a Toyota Tundra truck that was turning south from Benson Blvd. onto C St. The vehicle fled the area southbound. The victim was transported by AFD medics with serious injuries. 

The suspect vehicle is believed to be a black Toyota Tundra Extended cab truck, manufactured between the years of 2014 - 2021.
