DEATH INVESTIGATION: 700 BLOCK OF E BENSON BLVD.

At approximately 5:55 PM on January 13, 2026, Anchorage Police were dispatched to the 700 block of E Benson Blvd. in reference to an unresponsive adult male located outside. APD officers and medics of the Anchorage Fire Department responded; medics performed life-saving procedures but the man was ultimately declared deceased by medics. The Medical Examiner responded and released the body to a funeral home. Nothing suspicious was noted at the scene. Next-of-kin notification procedures are not yet complete.
