RICHARD LEE CRAMER INDICTED IN SEXUAL ASSAULT INVESTIGATIONS; POLICE BELIEVE THERE MAY BE MORE VICTIMS

The Anchorage Police Department’s CrimesAgainst Children Unit (CACU) is requesting the public’s assistance in an ongoing investigation involving 72-year-old Richard Lee Cramer.

On December 18, 2025, Cramer was indicted on one count of Attempted Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the First Degree and seven counts of Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the Second Degree. He was arrested on December 19, 2025 (APD Case: 25-38992).

Cramer previously lived in Pennsylvania before relocating to Alaska in the late 1970s. While living in Alaska, he worked in various roles within the restaurant, hospitality, and recreation industries. He also volunteered as a coach for youth sports.

The investigation to date has identified multiple reported victims associated (APD cases 23-36329 and 25-17115). Anchorage Police Department detectives also assisted the Homer Police Department in a related investigation involving Cramer. He was indicted on charges stemming from all of these cases.
