TRAFFIC INVESTIGATION: 32nd Ave. and Minnesota Dr.

TRAFFIC: ​INVESTIGATION​: 32ND AVE. AND MINNESOTA DR. ​     ​ 

DATE/TIME OF INCIDENT: October 28, 2025 at 8:22pm 

ROAD CLOSURES: ​ Minnesota Dr Southbound is closed at E Benson Blvd ​while investigators with the Major Collision Investigation Unit (MCIU) process the scene. Please use alternative routes. 

UPDATE: On Oct. 28, 2025 at about 8:22 pm., Anchorage Police responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian collision near the intersection of 32nd Ave. and Minnesota Dr. The Anchorage Fire Department transported the adult male to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Preliminary investigation revealed a Ford F150 was driving southbound on Minnesota Dr. when the pedestrian was struck. The pedestrian was crossing Minnesota Dr. and was not in a marked or unmarked crosswalk.

The driver remained on the scene and cooperated with the investigation.  No charges have been filed at this time.
